Learning to swim is an exciting journey. Aqua Beans will guide your child through their learning adventure by growing confidence, independence, skill, fitness and passion.
Children learn best when they are fully engaged and feel empowered in their learning which are fundamental to our Swim Academy programme.
We pride ourselves on focusing on the individual needs of each child. We understand that children do not all learn in the same way and our small class sizes allow us to tailor the activities, skills and games to suit each and every child in the lesson.
Suitable from 4+ years, and based around the ASA framework, our unique and progressive programme consists of five key stages which that will inspire independence, grow confidence and develop key swimming skills with a focus on establishing the correct technique from the beginning.
We pride ourselves on ensuring that our classes are engaging, progressive and fun to ensure that our swimmers develop a natural and lifelong passion for the water.
Please note, our Swim Academy programme is taught with parents watching on the poolside. Just sit back, relax and watch your child as we guide them through their incredible swimming journey.
Which Level is Best for my Child?
We think that it is really important to spend time to find the perfect class for your child.
Please use the table below as a guide to our levels.
Once booked, we will ask you to answer a few questions which will give us a better understanding of your child’s ability and previous experience (if any). This will help the teacher when you come along for your first lesson.
Register your interest and we will contact you as soon as bookings open so you can secure your place
Is suited for non swimmers/complete beginners in the water up to travelling 5m front and back unaided.
Is suited for swimmers more confident in the water and can swim 10m front and back unaided.
Is for swimmers who can swim 15m front crawl and backstroke. Fully submerge under water and perform a push and glide.
Is for swimmers who can kick up to 10m breaststroke and butterfly, and perform three different shaped jumps into the water.
Is for swimmers who are working up to swimming 25m front crawl, breaststroke, backstroke and butterfly.
